چکیده

Background: Increased arterial stiffness (AS) following exercise may be associated with acute cardiovascular events. High-intensity play an important role in increase AS after exercise. Objectives: This study aimed to examine the effect of reduced-exertion high-intensity interval training (REHIT) on among individuals insufficient physical activity compared that normal-weight and overweight/obese individuals. Methods: Twenty-four young adults low were divided into group (n = 12, age 21.92 ± 0.79 years, body mass index (BMI) 20.97 1.21 kg/m2) 22.00 0.00 BMI 27.06 5.24 kg/m2). All participants performed REHIT (20 s × 2 all-out sprints a cycle ergometer for 10 min). Brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV), heart rate (HR), blood pressure (BP), rating perceived exertion (RPE), affect responses assessed before 1, 30, 60 min. Results: Following REHIT, HR increased, baPWV decreased, which then returned baseline at min both groups. However, there was no significant difference between groups (P > 0.05). The RPE increased significantly < There change 0.05) Conclusions: Our main finding did not either or suggests can safely done physically inactive individuals, groups, adverse stiffness.

No Acute Effect of Reduced-exertion High-intensity Interval Training (REHIT) on Insulin Sensitivity.

1 2 We have previously demonstrated that reduced-exertion high-intensity interval training 3 (REHIT), requiring a maximum of two 20-s all out cycling sprints in a 10-min exercise session, 4 improves insulin sensitivity in sedentary men over a 6-week training intervention. However, 5 the acute effects of REHIT on insulin sensitivity have not previously been described. In this

A comparison of the health benefits of reduced-exertion high-intensity interval training (REHIT) and moderate-intensity walking in type 2 diabetes patients.

Reduced-exertion high-intensity interval training (REHIT) is a genuinely time-efficient intervention that can improve aerobic capacity and insulin sensitivity in sedentary individuals. The present study compared the effects of REHIT and moderate-intensity walking on health markers in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) in a counter-balanced crossover study. Sixteen men with T2D (mean ± SD age: ...

The effects of continued training and high intensity interval training along with Citrus aurantium on aerobic power, heart weight, adipose tissue weight and body weight of elderly rats

Background and objective: Nutrition and physical activity are two factors which affecting the control of body composition and cardiorespiratory fitness in the elderly population. Present study aimed to investigate the effects of continued training (CT) and high intensity interval training (HIIT) along with Citrus aurantium (Ca) on aerobic power and body composition of elderly rats. Material An...

Changes in aerobic capacity and glycaemic control in response to reduced-exertion high-intensity interval training (REHIT) are not different between sedentary men and women.

Previously it has been reported that reduced-exertion high-intensity interval training (REHIT; total training time of 3 × 10 min per week) improves maximal aerobic capacity in both sedentary men and women, but improves insulin sensitivity in men only. The aim of the present study was to determine whether there is a true sex difference in response to REHIT, or that these findings can be explaine...

Time-dependent Effects of High Intensity Interval Training on Oxygen Kinetics in Females

Background. Because VO2max doesn’t provide any detailed information about aerobic examinations Oxygen Kinetic is used for more accuracy. Long intensive and repetitive exercises with sufficient time lead to increase in aerobic parameters like kinetic absorption of oxygen. Objectives. The purpose of this study was to determine time dependent effects of short-time high intensity interval...
